Our Home Care Services
We can help you! As a specialist nursing and care provider, we offer all
types of care packages - perhaps for 24 hours a day over 7 days a week
or perhaps for just for 1 hour a week depending on your personal requirements.
Our duties could extend from personal hygiene needs and dressing assistance,
social or general household tasks, or even full nursing care.
We have sound principles for the way we run our service. Central to these
is our belief that the rights of the service user are paramount. We
plan the care you will receive with you or your representative to make
sure that it promotes your independence and meets all your requirements.
Who Do We Provide Care For?
We provide care and support for people like you, who need some assistance
to look after themselves, at times convenient to them and in ways they
find most agreeable. Whether you require just a couple of hours support
or a full twenty four hour service, we can arrange a package to suit
your needs.
Some of the services we can provide:
Respite care
Sitting/company service
Personal Care - i.e. showering, bathing, etc
Getting up or going to bed service
Night support - one off check, sleep-in or wake and watch service
Social activities
Shopping and domestic help
Community support
Escort services
If you can't see the service you would like, just contact us and we can
let you know if we are able to help you - the answer is probably 'yes'!
Our clients vary from the frail elderly to the younger, physically disabled
client, children or clients with mental health problems or learning
disabilities, who have chosen to live in their own homes, rather move
into nursing or residential accommodation. In this way they are therefore
able to remain in control of their lives with the security of anything
up to full 24 hour support, whether this is for a period of convalescence
or as a long term arrangement.
Our care workers and staff
We recognise that the most important people in our organisation
are the care workers with whom you will have most regular contact.
For your peace of mind, we take great care in recruiting, vetting, training
and supervising our staff. We select suitably skilled staff with the
appropriate ability to meet a care package which matches clients level
of dependency. We also recognise that continuity and building up personal
relationships with you and your immediate family re-assures them that
you benefit from consistent care and they can take a break themselves.
For further information on how we can help you, now or in the future,
please contact us either by phone, or complete
the contact box and a member of our friendly staff will contact
you to discuss your needs.

Our complaints procedure
A1 Nursing and Homecare Agency works hard to deliver the highest
standard of care provision. To ensure that we do, we invest in a Quality
Assurance Programme, part of which means giving you, our clients, the
opportunity to express any dissatisfaction you may have about us. In
most cases, problems are easily resolved through talking to your carer.
However, there may be times when you need to go to a higher level. If
so please see our comprehensive complaints procedure.
Opportunity to Care?
Homecare represents a great opportunity to work as part of a team
committed to making sure that people are able to stay in their own home
rather than move into a care home. You form fulfilling relationships
with people who rely on you for getting the best quality care to remain
safe and well. The satisfaction of knowing that you have helped can
be a reward all of its own. Caring is a varied, interesting and rewarding
career, not just a job. (www.socialcarecareers.co.uk)
